$0 towards $1,000

Join me in supporting The Ruth Page Center for the Arts (RPCA). Help me reach my goal of $1,000 to launch 50 more years of excellence in dance and artistic development here in Chicago and beyond!

Ruth Page Center was my second home from age eight to eighteen, and the school has shaped me as a person as well as a dancer. I will forever be grateful to all of the teachers and faculty for the support and knowledge that they have given me over the years. Ruth Page Center gives students opportunities to travel abroad and participate in exchanges, and because of these opportunities, I was able to train in Cuba and start my professional career. Ruth Page Center will always hold a very special place in my heart.

To celebrate 50 years, RPCA is raising $50,000.00 USD – one thousand dollars for every year of growth. Just a small donation will go a long way to helping me meet my goal for RPCA.

About the Campaign:

In 1971, having already established herself as an internationally acclaimed dancer, choreographer, and arts patron, Ruth Page created an arts center and school of dance where artistic excellence could thrive. The Ruth Page Center for the Arts (RPCA) stands today as an example of how far her legacy has grown. 50 years since its founding, RPCA has become home to a vibrant Artists In-Residence program and a comprehensive theater performance space. It consistently provides performance and professional opportunities to the next generation of dance artists and world-class training with a strong focus on international partnerships. The arts organizations who work and create here, and the artists who train and perform here, together are truly representative of Ruth Page’s iconic work, Expanding Universe, created in collaboration with artist Isamu Noguchi. This is our inspiration and sets the tone for 50 more years of excellence in artmaking. RPCA has broadened the initial vision of Ruth Page, and continues to push the boundaries of dance and artistic development here in Chicago and beyond.

Your gift will go towards supporting dance teachers, accompanists, and subsidized instruction for students in need, in addition to artistic development programs such as Keystone Dance Academy, Artists In-Residence, Subsidized Theater and Studio Rental, International Dance Experience, and The Ruth Page Civic Ballet Training Company.

The mission of The Ruth Page Center for the Arts is to “Be a platform for developing great artists and connecting them with audiences and community.”
